Mr. Carter is 8 months old now! He is such a cutie! He still has those very animated facial expressions. He did great for this session and his parents are just adorable! Carter was totally into being outdoors...but he did worry me a bit because he kept trying to eat the grass! I just love this guy....he is so sweet and will just hug you up every time! Hockey Shoot...Special Engagement Photos BluOrchid Photography ~ Marion AR Photographer

So, I just posted Noel and Chris' Engagement album and realized that I had not ever posted photos from the special shoot we did with them! We actually got the Desoto Civic Center to let us come in when there wasn't a Riverkings game and do a photo shoot on the ice! Noel and Chris are HUGE fans! They even talked them into letting us borrow some uniforms, skates, sticks, and a puck! They let them have the puck at the end as a special momento! Here are some of the cool shots we got. You would not believe what hockey players go thru just to get dressed for every game. Those guys were sweating to death by the time it was over! It was a serious blast!!!!

Dance Recital 2009! BluOrchid Photography ~ Marion AR Photographer

So, I posted some photographs that we took of Summer after recital, but I also got some of the girls in action. These were taken at the Arkansas Academy of Dance 2009 Recital held at the Perot Theatre. I used to take there as well and was so jealous as I watched the performances. It made me want to dance again. I might have to take it back up!
This is my beautiful sister, Summer! It was an honor to watch her dance this year. She is so tall and has that beautiful ballerina look. She was so graceful and was just inspiring! It was amazing to see her look so grown up! I love this girl!!!! This year she had four dances: Pointe, Lyrical, Jazz, and Hip Hop!

This is Danielle. She is Ms. Susan's daughter and was getting down to the hip hop routine! I loved this one because I took hip hop from Ms. Susan and she looks JUST LIKE her mom!

This is Carley...she is Ms. Erika Abernathy's (studio owner) daughter! This was her 10th year and she did an amazing pointe solo! I loved her beautiful costume as well!

This is Megan. She is going to be a senior this year and made AR High Red Line! She just gets better and better every year and I love to watch her dance!

This is Amy....she is the reason I wanted to dance in the first place. This is her 21st year of dance and she always moves like an angel! Simply beautiful! I must admit that I really missed seeing her on pointe, but her lyrical routine was awesome!

Ok, so, I couldn't post this until now. I did a photo recently of my sister after her beautiful recital. She had her very first real tutu with her pointe dance this year. My mother absolutely loved it. She cried at dress rehearsal when we got her all fixed up and hair/makeup completed. Summer looked like a little lady....growing up too fast. Anyhow, after we had recital, Summer and I went down to this amazing barn that I can't believe they haven't torn down yet. I wanted to do something different this time. Something totally artsy and that is what we got. Here is what our mother got for her special day! She loved it and I had to share!

Oh, there are a couple of others that I just couldn't resist. It was raining like crazy when we went and Summer had the cutest rain boots on. I got a few of her in those too!
