BluOrchid Photography Open Gallery Saturday September 13th

We will be having an open gallery, Saturday, September 13th, from 4:30-6:30 for all the couples that are interested in hiring BluOrchid Photography to photograph their wedding! Please call us at 901.832.4111 to see if we are available for your date. Remember, we only photograph 26 weddings per year so that we can provide the very best service to each of our couples. We only have 12 weddings left for commissioning in 2009, so don't wait!

Here are a few photos we had on display at the bridal show so you can remember who we were....and a few new ones that we have been working on that we just love! Please call to let us know if you are planning to come to the open gallery event so that we can put you on the guest list! Thanks, and see you soon!!!! Kristi

Are people actually watching my videos online?

I just added some new videos online and I wonder if people actually watch them so I'm adding these counters to see!!!!! Hope they don't say "0" forever!!!!

Hunter and Melissa!

This is Hunter and Melissa! We did a little mini-session with them when Hunter came in for his viewing session. They wanted a few of them together! They were really cute together. I tried out a few new treatments on the photos and couldn't decide between color and black and white on one, so I'm posting them both to let you decide! So, here we go......

My First Senior Boy: Hunter from Cordova!

Now don't get jealous, girls! Since Hunter is the one and only boy on my site, he is going to have lots of photos on the blog to showcase what we can do for the fellas! So maybe a few more of them will call to get their photos done too! So here we go! And we will be adding a few more tomorrow of him and his girlfriend! We did a quick mini session of them when they came for their viewing session. They were so cute (and such quick kissers....or smoochers as I called it!) hehe!!!!! And at the end of Hunter's portrait session, there was a police officer in the parking lot where we were. We asked him if he would let us play a bit in his car. He was nice enough to let us use his car...so Hunter was not really a bad boy...hopefully this is the closest he will ever get to the back of a cop car! Thanks Mr. Policeman!!!!! On to the photos!

A new maternity look for me!

I am trying a new look for maternity that I am loving....and so did my client. These are so artistic and really display the wonderful emotion that this special time is all about. I hope to do more of these and to show couples that this is about a special connection between them and their unborn baby. Have a look at the beautiful art that we were able to create. There will be more to come from this session on the website soon!
