Memphis Wedding! BluOrchid Photography ~ Marion AR Photographer

I'm sure you all remember Courtney and Beau from their engagement session. Well, we had their wedding and it was absolutely gorgeous. The ceremony was at The First Methodist Church on the Square in Collierville, TN. Afterwards we headed over to Club Windward for the beautiful reception. I have to say that the flowers were amazing. Charise Faliciano Designs did an amazing job once again. Kake Deeva did a beautiful job on the cake....and it was very tasty too! And, the cupcake tower was a nice site as well as delicious from SugarBowl Cupcakes. I would highly recommend any of these vendors.

Anyhow....check these out! Courtney and Beau came this past weekend to see their images for the first time. You know you've done it right when you've got a sofa full of people crying over the photos as they are re-living their wedding day and seeing things that they were too busy to even notice on the actual wedding day! I loved seeing their faces when they saw them for the first time!

Memphis Engagement Portraits! BluOrchid Photography ~ Marion AR Photographer

Meet Ashley and Nick. We will be photographing their wedding next month. They wanted something completely different for their engagement photographs. Ashley called and said she liked the way everything around looked very cold and "dead" in the winter. I totally knew what she meant by that. I envisioned huge trees that were all spirally and windy, black and white images, silouettes....and of course...they still had to fit my style with the tones and textures. They are also fans of art and wanted something really artistic. We came up with some really neat things for them. We stayed away from the city and did the entire session right in our own area here in Marion. I loved every minute of it. I knew after the first shutter click that this was going to be an easy session....they were so natural in front of the camera. I can't wait for the wedding! Here is a bit of what they came in and saw tonight! They were blown away by their images.
