Meet Erica and Jermaine. We did their engagement session and I am really excited about putting these on the blog. They met each other at a bike get together of some sort...so they knew they wanted to incorporate that into the photographs. ***Side note....I totally love how people have been incorporating things into their sessions that scream THEM!**** Ok, back to regularly scheduled programming. We went to downtown Memphis for this session and found some really cool, grungy locations. Erica had gone shopping and found these awesome shoes that she wanted to incorporate into the session...and let me tell you, she worked it in those shoes. I would have broken my neck, but not this girl! Too hot! Anyhow, it was a great time and I love how urban these turned out. Have a look....

Now, I know this is backwards since I posted their wedding a while ago, but I wanted to include the album I created from their engagement session as well! Brice and Amy were a blast to hang out with for the session and they let me try some fun new looks with them! We went downtown and to a few of my favorite walls in Memphis to get these looks!

This is Noel and Chris. We will be photographing their wedding in April. They were really fun to photograph....a really playful couple. I think their quirkiness is going to make their wedding so much fun!!!! We went to a few places around town, but the most fun was at Overton Park. It was really funny because they would start to kiss or something equally romantic and you could hear the monkeys from the zoo all the way at the park just oohh oohh and ahh ahh'ing! It was so funny because it was like they could see Chris and Noel and they would start up everytime! We got a good laugh out of it.

Courtney and Beau's Memphis Engagement Session

Meet Courtney and Beau. We will be doing their wedding in January. They just came in for their engagement session viewing and LOVED it! I'm so glad because not only is Courtney one of our most beautiful brides, but she is also a very good friend of mine. We did their session on a VERY cold day, but they braved it and we went all over Memphis. It was so fun to work with them.....and so sweet. Look at the one where Courtney is looking at him so lovingly. This is one of the things that we are really good at....catching emotion and capturing feelings. I love that! They were sweet and romantic. I can't wait to do Courtney's bridals (her dress is sooooo beautiful and unique). And I really can't wait for the wedding. Without further ado.....

Meet Heather! West Memphis Senior 2009!

This is Ms. Heather. She came to me for her senior portraits and she was soooo much fun! We did some in studio and then went downtown. She was the absolute queen of giving me the serious look! Ok, these guys were a freaking blast! We went all over town to do a special shoot for them. We were standing on Beale Street and all of a sudden this fun music started playing....and they started dancing! It was so much fun. I was laughing so hard, I thought I wouldn't be able to take the photos. FUN, FUN, FUN!!!!!!
